Mientras algunos romanos iban cayendo se fue produciendo una retirada de la vanguardia romana y envalentonados los macedonios comenzaron a avanzar. A su vez existi\u00f3 una <strong>segunda batalla de Pidna<\/strong> en este mismo lugar, donde unos 20 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, <strong>Andriscos<\/strong> se proclam\u00f3 hijo ileg\u00edtimo de <strong>Perseo<\/strong> y logr\u00f3 restaurar el reino aunque de forma ef\u00edmera. Los romanos despu\u00e9s de algunas derrotas, enviaron un ej\u00e9rcito consular al mando de <strong>Quinto Cecilio Metelo<\/strong> y los volvieron a derrotar en los campos de <strong>Pidna<\/strong>.
